About Us

We’re dedicated to you - with Expert Antenatal and Postnatal Support

At Trossachs Antenatal, we offer local antenatal classes, breastfeeding education, and postnatal doula support for families across East Dumbartonshire, Stirling and the Trossachs.

Whether you're preparing for your first baby or welcoming another, we help you feel confident, informed, and supported through pregnancy, birth, and early parenthood.

Our group antenatal and breastfeeding classes are grounded in evidence-based care and compassionate support. We guide you through birth options — including home birth, hospital birth, water birth and caesarean — as well as infant feeding choices, from breastfeeding and expressing to formula and bottle feeding.

We believe there’s no one "right way" to give birth or parent — just the right way for you. Our sessions are personal, inclusive, and filled with practical tools to help you feel ready and resilient.

Antenatal Classes and Doula Support – Confident Birth, Informed Choices, Supported Postpartum

Our Killearn-based antenatal classes are open to all expectant parents—whether you're welcoming your first baby or expanding your family.

Designed with couples in mind, our classes focus on promoting positive and informed labour, birth, and postnatal experiences. Your antenatal journey is nurtured through individual exploration of information, interactive group learning and nourishing opportunities to make lifelong friends.

02

Doula Rooms

Care and support during your postpartum period are vital for healing and honouring the incredible journey your body and baby have been through. The mother and baby form a dyad — two beings deeply connected. When the baby is born, the mother or parent is also reborn into a new chapter of life.

The Doula Rooms offers an alternative or addition to modern antenatal classes. It’s a space to celebrate the end of pregnancy and welcome new beginnings — mother-in-arms, a baby, a new family, a community, and a sense of belonging. These sessions are focused on nurturing the mother so that she feels at the centre of her experience.

03

Breastfeeding & Infant Feeding

Breastfeeding classes can be incredibly beneficial for both parents, offering essential preparation for those first few days and weeks. By gaining knowledge about what contributes to a positive and successful breastfeeding experience and learning practical skills and strategies, families can feel more confident, empowered, and supported as they begin this important journey.

What our parents say about us

We've worked with some amazing families over the years and are deeply grateful for their willingness to share their experiences.

“I found this course really beneficial in terms of making us feel like a team as parents. It has triggered many conversations in our home in preparation for our baby. I loved how all the content and teachings were well backed-up and considered. I liked the variety of learning experiences. Thank you Laura”

"Laura is a fountain of positive, warmth, non-judgemental, nurturing well informed advise - tapping into her knowledge and understanding has been like a warm, cosy hug when navigating the stormy waters of being a new mother."

“Laura has been fantastic. I have really enjoyed each stage of the classes and feel confident on what to expect in childbirth. I feel relaxed and positive about what’s to come and this is due to the knowledge and time Laura has taken with us as a couple. I have loved meeting you.”
